The only Reger with which I am familiar is Introduction, Passacaglia, and Fugue for organ. Rather conventional stuff.

Egg on my face. I remembered a characterization of Reger as one of the worst composers of all time. Upon some further research tonight, I found that he is highly regarded as a composer of organ music. To Mr. Reger, my apologies.
He is the author of possibly the greatest putdown of a music critic who panned one of his works: "I am sitting in the smallest room of my house. I have your review before me. In a moment it will be behind me."
