I was searching around on orchestra pages and found Mr. Jankins in the Jacksonville orchestra. Do you know more about him? What is the tuba he plays, and with which his photographed on the Orchestra member page?

Thanks for any infos!

He used to be with the Alabama Symphony and teach at Samford and U of Alabama. His main orchestral horn is a gold accented silver plated 6/4 York BBb tuba.

He's teaching at the University of Florida, if I remember correctly. Probably can be reached through there.

I've been doing some research into Marzan tubas. I've been told that Mr. Jenkins is playing tuba with the Jacksonville, FL symphony and that his horn is a Marzan. I emailed him in care of the Jacksonville symphony a week or so ago but haven't received a reply.

Current 'stable'... Rudolf Meinl 5/4, Marzan (by Willson) euph, King 2341, Alphorn, and other strange stuff.
