Mute bag?
How do you transport your mute? I've used my alteri euphonium gig bag in the past as it's an almost perfect fit, but since I bought a new euphonium over the summer with a bad case the bag actually gets used for it's intended purpose. I'd rather not spend that much money on another gig bag for the mute but can't seem to find anything else that works even half as well so thought I'd check to see what you all do.
Much thanks!

Military style duffles come in a variety of sizes. They also come in black so you won't look cheesey with an olive drab bag. Be creative and add some padding inside to offer a little protection for the mute(s).

They made mine for my Denis Wick mute. It is perfect. fits a folding music stand in a side sleeve and has a great shoulder-strap. however.....it will still be.....as Bloke sez a "dent bag". Just 'cause it's in the bag, doesn't mean it ain't gonna get "biffed".
beta 14??..........OK!

Yeah, I don't expect it to do a perfect job, but it's better than letting it roll around in the trunk or the back seat and get banged up that way with no protection.dmmorris wrote:Mark wrote:Altieri sells bags made specifically for tuba mutes.

Kevin, I didn't even think about the duffles, thanks.
