UMMM ?? perhaps Eric Ball ?? its a fine piece youll enjoy playing it im sure .

Yes, it is Eric Ball. I was lucky enough to perform the arrangement with the Fairey band to win the Nationals on it in 2003 at the Royal Albert Hall. Unfortunately I was sat very close to a Mic, so the live contest recording ( http://www.4barsrest.com/shopping/cd_detail.asp?id=499 ) is very BBb heavy. Fortunately we also made a studio recording that is excellent as well ( http://www.4barsrest.com/shopping/cd_detail.asp?id=409 ).
Some great tuba parts, very fond memories of performing it!

I remember Barrie Perrins with great affection. A fine player, a gentleman, yet a real character as well.

Here we are next to each other at Hendon in the '90's (I'm on E flat bass);
