VMI "Apollo" F- tuba

Post by J.Harris »

There's one of these for sale at Dillon's. Anyone here played one? I'm looking for an F and this one's in my budget. Any opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance - Jason

playtest.

Call up Matt Walters and ask him, too.

I've given up having tubas shipped; most of them had ergonomic problems that made them impossible for me to play, even if I had loved them completely otherwise. The only one that worked right off the bat was my 182 MW F.

I played one of those a while back. The sound was ethereal, but the intonation was too challenging for me.
