Rudy Meinl Bore Sizes...

Post by ZNC Dandy »

I have a few questions about the valve bore of the Rudolf Meinl horns. What is the bore size of the current Rudy C50, and C45?(5/4 CC and 4/4 CC respectively) I also read that the valve bore used to be larger? But was switched sometime in the 80's? THose that have played, or owned both, what effect, if any has it had on the sound and response of the instrument? Any info you would have is much appreciated. I am considering purchasing one of the two.

While we're at it, how about the 43 and the 4345, as well, please!
