The threads can move down the page fairly quickly -- but it takes a little while to move very many pages. If you don't see your article bouncing up and down the first page, click "2" and check the 2nd page of threads. If not there, "3", etc. It won't have moved very far.tjrck wrote:I have not seen the responses. When I've come back to the board it has been archived I guess. Where can I find them?
Or, up towards the upper right corner, you'll find a group of links (right below the sponsor advert). Click on the "Search" link and type in Miraphone AND St. Pete, or your name to find the thread.
I don't remember if I posted on that thread or not. So: Absolutely buy the Miraphones, if you have the funds to do so. St. Petes, on a very good day, with extra work by a good shop, when handled gently, may work and sound close to a Miraphone. But you don't want to do all that work to get them healthy at the beginning, you don't want to do the extra work to keep them healthy, and the odds that multiple St. Petes will all have good intonation is much lower than the same odds for a group of Miraphones.
Cheers,
