Jim,

Is there a chance that the tribute will be recorded and released to the public?

Since I'm neck deep in this process, I can answer with a definitive "no" on that one. I brought it up with Tommy's widow, and as much as she'd like to make some type of recording available, the union entanglements for releasing a recording or video of the concert would make it cost prohibitive. Most of the musicians performing are union members.

Sad, but that's just how it is. Should be a very nice concert for those able to attend...

This is really a loss to those of us that would truly love to hear the tribute to this man that has given so much to our instrument.

I am convinced that 90% of the problems with rhythm, tone, intonation, articulation, technique, and overall prowess on the horn are related to air issues.

These two maps should do it for you. One shows the surrounding area/freeways, the other shows the campus:

Campus

Hope to see you there...
