ATTN: Repair Guys, Lead Pipe Adjustment

Post by mdc2d »

This is a question for all of those repair guru's out there. I play a Gronitz PCM tuba. I find (even with a tuba stand) the leadpipe to be extremely uncomfortable in its position. The horn sounds great, but I would like to look into perhaps getting the leadpipe positioned differently. Anyone have a ballpark idea to the cost of this and what would be involved in this project??

Also, what repair man would be good in the Middle Tennessee region for a job like this?

Thanks!

Bloke is near Memphis (at least he used to be) and more than capable of doing this job. Willing might be another story. PM him for answers.
