Which mpc for old Boosey 3v eeb tuba?

I like to use for my bohemian bb tuba mpc's with big diameters (Bayamo, SSH, TU 33) Now I have a Boosey eeb tuba, comes with a 'tiny' mpc.
I tested my mpc's, the best of them seems the Conn 2.
Are there better mpc for this horn, what do you think?

The mouthpiece that was designed for your Boosey is a Wick 3 for the small shank and 3L for the regular shank. A lot of people also use a Bach 24AW, if you have the regular sized shank, which you may from your having tried a Conn 2. The Mike Finn MF4 is also good. But if you have the original smaller shank, in addition to the Wick 3, Mike Finn also has a batch of his MF4's that have the shallower cup which he's had milled to the smaller shank as well as the standard shank. PM me if interested. You could always use an old Boosey, Kozy Kup or other mouthpiece, but finding one at all, much less one in good enough condition to use, might be quite a search.

Thank you, iiipopes. Indeed the shank of the Conn 2 fits not very good, its a little bit big. and my SSH with European shank doesn't fit at all. So the Wick 3 may be the best. I'll try it!

I personally find the Wick 3 / Bach 24AW mpcs to be too small for me to comfortably play with my Eb. The smallest mpcs I tend to use are the Wick 2 (L) or the Conn 7B Helleberg. When I want a bit larger sound from my Eb, I switch to the standard Conn Helleberg or a Wick 1 (L). But I am not playing British Brass Band material -- I'm either playing quintet literature or with a community concert band, taking the upper bass parts when available, and the "standard" contrabass part otherwise. The one characteristic the Wick 3 / 24AW mpcs have (I think) are that they may be a bit deeper than some of the other, slightly wider mpcs I've listed above. So, if you're comfortable playing very large mpcs otherwise, you might consider not stepping all the way "down" to a Wick 3 -- as it will probably feel rather small to you.

Hey Steve, I also consider, that a DW3 is strange small for me. First I'll test a MF4. If that doesn't work, I look for a Bora or Manatuska.
