It's been discussed here:

viewtopic.php?t=19811

Bottom line: Most wouldn't call this a BAT.

The seller is a TubeNet sponsor and his web-site is:

www.tubamm.com

If you want information about the horn, I'm sure he'll be happy to oblige.

This instrument doesn't seem to be listed on their web page.

It's no BAT, of course, but that doesn't mean it's unworthy. I do believe these are made in China, but that also doesn't mean it's unworthy, especially at this price.

It's a solid 4/4 tuba, about the size of a Conn 52J, according to the look and the reported 18" bell and 36" height.

What Rick Denney said. Of course it's not on the website: it's a prototype, or near-prototype.

Because of that, probably noone has played it, either.

M&M

Post by tubamlb »

Hi you all

The M&M Tubas and other brass instruments were at the Florida Music Conferance in Tampa FL in January

There was 44 different Tubas , Trombones and Euphoniums

The BBb Bat was not there it has just arrived

The U of M in Miami has M&M Tubas and many other schools

You get a lot of Tuba for not a lot of money
