Frigyes Hidas passed away

Frigyes Hidas died Wednesday, March 7, in Budapest. A composer of some note, wrote a Tuba Concerto, and at least two tuba euphonium quartets. There were many other band and symphonic works, as well as quite a bit for trombone.

He wrote a few things for the Melton tuba quartet.

Nice music to listen to and perform.

Just performed his Requiem for Wind Ensemble and Chorus in October, very cool piece.
