Guide to the Tuba Repertoire (Former Tuba source book)

Post by JHardisk »

So, I finally broke down and bought the New Tuba Source Book. What a great investment! I can't believe I went so long without owning it. If you do not own this book, buy it! The price tag of $75 may seem a little steep, but it will answer darn near any repertoire question you might ever have. I can't believe how concise the new version is. Any piece ever recorded for tuba solo or combination of tubas in included, darn near every work for tuba is included in this book. It's most likely the best source of tuba repertoire information ever.

I'd like to publically congratulate all those involved in this major project! Huzzah!

For those of you who may have no idea what I'm talking about, ask your teacher about this book. If they do not own it, shame on them ;-)
