Music for "Toast to the President of the United States&

Hi,

As the subject suggests, I'm looking for what American military bands play during a mess dinner for the toast to the president.

I always thought that as the President entered the room, the mess was called to attention, the President was announced, the band played "Hail to the Chief" and then after a nod from the President the CO gave at ease and everyone got on with it.

Please correct me.

No, this is for at an official dinner when the President is toasted as Head of State.

Anyways, we call the President's Own's Drummajor and found out the official answer.

You are supposed to play the complete "Stars and Stripes Forever".
