Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy

Post by TBow »

I'm looking for brass quintet music for Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, anyone know of a publisher that has it or possibly a quintet that is willing to get rid of it?
Thanks!

You might want to try a vocal arrangement and transcribe it to a quintet. I have used two different ones, over the years, with chamber choirs and they were really quite good and could be easily transcribed, especially the tuba part from the piano accompaniment and the rest of the quintet from the 4 part vocal score.

We have a brass quartet version - that could easily be done with quintet if you add an improv line. All it would take is a little creativity.

Pieces are listed alphabetically (Boogie is towards the bottom)
There is a score sample for you to take a look at as well.

Get the Paul Chauvin arrangement for brass quintet. It is excellent and has a fun tuba part.
