Herbert Haufrecht, "Suite" for Brass Quintet
Hello, does anybody have any idea if this is even in print any longer, and if it is, where in the world I can purchase it??? I've done some googling, music library, and tubenet searches with little luck. Thanks!

Funny you should mention Herbert Haufrecht.
A good friend of mine, Ed Simons (90 years old & going strong!!!), was good friends with Herb, and actually may be in possession of a manuscript copy of the quintet (he is going to check).
I have never heard the piece, myself. Was it ever published?

Thanks, but this is a completely different piece. This is far a large brass ensemble (3 tpts, 4 horns, 3 bones, tuba). The "Suite" is arranged specifically for brass quintet.
You are correct though, the Symphony for Brass is a great piece.

Very cool... I assumed it was published at one time. I played a copy of the quintet a few years back, but would like to purchase it.Funny you should mention Hertbert Haufrecht.
