Our 2007 summer concerts have begun, Wednesdays at the U. S. Capitol, and Thursdays at the Sylvan Theater at the Washington Monument. Concerts begin at 8:00 pm, and run weekly through the end of August. The June 20 & 21 concerts feature Paul Mergen, tuba, perfoming the "Prelude et Allegro" by Eugene Bozza.
The Marine Band will also be appearing at the Texas Bandmasters Association 2007 in San Antonio, TX. Concerts will be held at the Lila Cockrell Theater. The full concert band performs on July 20 at 7:30 pm, and the wind ensembles and chamber groups will be performing on July 21 at 2:30 pm.
