Is it true that the valves on Weril euphoniums manufactured prior to 2002 are not as good as the newer products?
Can anyone share a link that can help be narrow down the manufacture date based on its serial number? Musictrader.com did not have listings for Weril. I've searched the internet unsuccessfully.

Thanks for you help, Joe. Was that in 2002?bloke wrote: When they went from a thruster stick valve guide (as is found on Conn "short-action" instruments) to a conventional "slot" valve guide, that made MANY dealers and consumers happier.
