My tuba attracts cellos! :)

Post by Wyvern »

I thought I would share my amusement from an outdoor concert this evening.

I played in the first number, then was not in for the rest of the first half, so left stage.

When I came back after the interval, this was the scene that greeted me - my tuba surrounded by cellos who obviously took a liking to it

Kind of like moths buzzing around a streetlight... I hope you were able to shoo them away.

You may be having more success than you think -- instruments don't move by themselves, after all -- maybe they're trying to tell you something? :D

It may be easier than you think. from my expierence(certainly well below professional level.) Cellists are easy to talk to and believe it or not I have actually found some (all women) who originally wanted to play tuba.
