Working the 2nd Mvt of JW Concerto?

So, I really think the second movement of the JW is just a gem. I've heard some discussion on the forum about playing the second with Piano Accomp---yet still having the flute and english horn cadenzas. No one has gone into very much detail on how they handle this. I love this movement, but it seems very lacking without these parts.


How exactly have people done this? Are you JUST cutting the cadenza from the piano accomp (the ones in the parenthesis), or are you actually playing the true orchestral parts for these two instruments?

How much more junk is in the orchestral part anyway? PLUS, in this setting mute works better, I would imagine?
