So, you're saying that it's inevitable that the NYPO will play in North Korea?

This would be incredible, if it could happen. I know they are trying to iron out their differences and finally end the Korean War (it never did finish).

If you check with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in North Korea, you will find out they only allow a handful of tourists at any one time. A friend of mine went with a group of 15, which the fine folks that were leading the tour said was the biggest group to visit the country since 1953. They don't let outsiders wander the streets alone. I guess, if you get bored, you could wander the streets of the hotel where you are staying.

Now for a group of over 100 musicians, plus their support staff, to visit the country might be too much for them. Thankfully, they are mature adults and not a high school band.

You know more than I do, but it seems that, to the North Koreans, Kim Jong Il is God, and that's not an understatement. They use his name the same way that Christians use the name of Jesus Christ to express something great happening in their lives.

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
