If I recall correctly, I was told that the orchestral version had been lost many years ago. Please correct me if I am misinformed.

Maybe look under that arrangement for bass trombone...

That arrangement was done by Dr. Joseph Spaniola. He is currently on the faculty at the University of West Florida.
