You sound really good. You definately set the bar really high, now the pressure is on for my recital next semester.

It takes courage to post a link to your own recital playing. Any "bashers" had better post a link to their own playing with any bash, that's for sure...
Amen.

You have a lot of good things going on in your playing. I would strive for a darker sound overall. What sounds like a clear, focused sound under the bell, sounds like a brighter, smaller sound to the audience. What sounds like a fuzzy, tubby sound under the bell sounds like a clearer yet darker sound to the audience.

Many pros call this "stage make-up".

Good junior recital.

I like the sound. I'll be looking forward to the senior recital.

I just listened to the 1st mvt of the Gregson and was impressed with your control over the various ranges--transitions were very nice, only an occasional drop of a phrase (Support!) Altogether, you seem to have a concept of what you WANT to sound like and you usually do it. 8)

Brave man. Nice Job. :)

I would experiment with a couple different mouthpieces, but if you do make sure you record the comparisons so you can compare apples to apples. I'd also encourage you to do the Gabrielli at a tempo where you can really lock into it and keep it consistent throughout the variations.

Excellent job - you should be proud of the results.
