Meinl Weston Thor to play in LA

Post by Roger Lewis »

I just wanted to let the west coast folks know that next week, at the NAMM show, there will be a lacquer Thor to honk on if you are able to get into the show. It will be at the JA Musik booth, #3200, and it's a great horn.

I'm just posting this so those who have not had a chance to try one can have a chance to do so. The Thors are pretty scarce in California.

Thanks for the heads-up! I hope to be there. I'll be sure to stop by, say 'hello,' and probably make the worst sounds you've ever heard coming out of a Thor! :)

I won't get a chance to be there due to a concert conflict, but the Meinl Weston folks will be there and they know a little about these horns. Just go and have some fun.

All the best.

MW Thor

I have a student who purchased a Thor from Dave Fedderly three weeks ago. We are both eceptionally happy with it. He is not at a point where he can have two tubas and the Thor is covering everything he needs. Dave only had the one and we just happened to go there at the right time. If you get a chance to play one take it, you won't be sorry.
