When I was in college back in the 60's we used udder cream to protect our lips and keep our embochure pliable. We got it for free from the campus dairy farm. Arkansas Tech was a great music school back then, but an even better place for agriculture studies. The stuff we got was pink, greasy and smelly but it worked great. My wife brought this home from the beauty shop the other day. Maybe she remembered how my lips felt back then compared to now, I don't know. This stuff is a vast improvement. I can highly recommend it for lips, hands, or what ever ails you.

I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.

A similar product is Bag Balm. Many drug stores have it in stock. Comes in a cool square green can with 'antique' script on the outside. It is also a skin cure all.tbn.al wrote:When I was in college back in the 60's we used udder cream to protect our lips and keep our embochure pliable. We got it for free from the campus dairy farm. They need guys like you to go back and regulate!
I love the stuff for hands, but have always been weary to put it on my lips. With your endorsement I'll give it a try.

This new stuff smells good and can be rubbed in within a couple of minutes with no greasy feel. As far as Tech is concerned, I haven't been back in over 20 years. I'm sure Andy can handle it.djwesp wrote:tbn.al wrote:Arkansas Tech was a great music school back then, but an even better place for agriculture studies.
