Birthdate of Paul Holmes

Would anyone know the birthdate of composer Paul Holmes? (Quartet for Tubas, Elegy for Tuba and Piano etc.)

I know Mr. Holmes passed away recently in 2007, but can not seem to find his birth date. I wish to have accurate dates for some CD liner notes...
I would appreciate knowing these if anyone has such information.

I started with Winston actually...have searched but have not come up with anything. Perhaps someone will have another contact...

Hi Scott,

I have information saying his birth year was 1923. The source is from a Syllabus of Selected Tuba Solo Repertoire that Don Little put together with a graduate student project in 2003.
