What Happened?
I was looking at some pictures on tuba news and wondering what happened to the Mr tuba horn or kalison york prototype. Both looked like good horns that seemed to go no where.
That guy practicing outside while the neighbors complain.

Kalison went under and was bought out by the Nirschl company.
(Article on TubaNews) Kalison's two main designers have formed a new company: G&P Wind Instruments, and I would guess that some variation of their York-model has evolved into one of G&P's current tubas.

It looks like the GP-13 is a slightly larger silver version of the GP-12, and both have similarities to Kalison's York prototype.

G&P
The Tuba Exchange carries the G&P instruments.
They have been involved in developing the mid-sized piston CC.
