Any mute, practice or other, is lighter than the silent brass for tuba. That thing must weigh twice what the Humes and Berg practice mute does.

this is an Austrian mute producer who does a hell of a job. I play one of his mutes as well and I love it. Also has a great practice mute in his repertoire...
