I have a Cronkhite tuba bag in "forest green"-I'll post a picture later if I can. It's a nice color that usually gets favorable comments from people who see it. As for the bag design it's wonderful. IMO Cronkhite bags are the best out there, by far.

I have an old one from the old american made Reunion blues era that looks great still and I have a new black cordura that is all black and it's fine and all but the leather is more protective and looks much better. I was a lot more poor when I bought the second bag and I now regret not spending the extra money for the leather.
One caveat with leather - I've noticed a *much* greater tendency for silver to tarnish when stored in a leather bag.

Bump.

Aside from Greg's Blackety Black Blackness Black Bag, and the Elephant's menagerie, does anyone have any other pics they could share? I'm ordering one next week and am trying to decide. Thanks.

FWIW I just ordered a Cronkhite bag from Steve Ferguson in working-man's cordura in Hunter Green for my new-to-me YBB-641. I figured it would hide dust better than black, with the added benefit of not being yet another black cordura gig bag - not that there's anything wrong with black...or "murses" or anything else.
