My 5-year old son, Doug, has almost finished Chapter 3 of "Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door" on the GameCube as of this morning. He's ranked #1 in Glitzville after beating Rawk Hawk, but hasn't been able to get past Grubba in the final fight of the level. Hopefully, a few more Fire Flowers and a Thunder Rage will do the trick. I keep trying to tell him to lose the Zap Tap badge and equip the FP Plus badge, but the lightning bolts just look too cool for him to pass up. He's one Star Piece short of getting Power Plus, and it's been holding him back.

I'll keep you posted.

Although I'm not a fan of public "sharing", I think some (one...?) of the "updates" were shared by people who may have felt that their particular issue originally impacted their tuba playing enough that others, whom they may consider friends, might have advice that could be of help to the "community" as a whole.

Since identifying the need to practice more is the only tuba content stated by the OP (this activity may possibly preclude reading TubeNet and thus reading all the annoying "updates"), maybe this should have been put in another area of TubeNet.

Then again, maybe not...! 8)

I have progressed from thinking about cleaning my garage to thinking I might clean my garage this weekend.

I stayed up late enough last night to see my computer calendar updated automatically. I might try it again tonight to see if it was a fluke.

You(and another poster) are probably right. This should have been posted under "Off Topic." I must have still been asleep when I started this up. I just found the "Update" mania to be a little comical. That's all. This was not an attempt to hurt anyone's feelings.

Well, I am pleased to say that Mr. Perot is here in my home while I am typing of TubeNet. He will now take over and make an important announcement.

I'm running again, folks! I am just sick to death of how things are getting done out there in DC and feel like we ought to be running the government as a business, with strong fiscal leadership and responsibility along with some serious downsizing. Now I propose that we all ought to have little video monitors hooked up to the Oval Office so that you can ring me up with whatever great, American ideas you might have to fix things, and maybe all of you and I can have a little get together on Wednesday evenings before y'all go on to meeting and choir practice at the church.

Anyway, I am back in the race once again! Vote for me, folks!

Heh, heh, heh… Hello, folks. Uh, it's H. Ross Perot once again. I forgot that I have some stuff to do for the next few years so this Presidential race is just not going to work out for me. I will clear my book and get back to y'all in 2012. So I am out again! Thanks!
