Hey all,
I received a recording from a university recently of our quartet recital. The recording has one problem--the CD is not properly divided into tracks. It only has 2 tracks. The first is 3:53 (the first piece), and the second is 38:22 (the rest of the recital!!).
I wanted to rip these tracks to my hard drive, which of course will yield me two files--one 3:53, and the other 38:22.
Anyone know any good (and hopefully free) software for splitting a WMA or MP3 file into several smaller files?

I think Audacity would b perfect for you. It's free and very easy to use (for what you want to do, at least).

Thanks to all!
I had forgotten about Audacity--it was already installed on this very laptop.
