I came across a 1965 Conn 26K 3 valve Eb Sousaphone that I'm interested in getting back "on the road". It doesn't need too much: the usual felts and corks; dent removal in one of the valve set loops, in the second valve slide (that one's pretty bad), and a bit in the bell; I'll have to straighten out the third valve stem, but that shouldn't be noticeable. A serious cleaning wouldn't hurt either. The instrument is satin silver with polished silver bell with unoriginal case. My questions: I'll have to get a neck, bits, and neck tension screw as they've been lost. Can I order any after-market Conn set and expect it to fit, or since the instrument's over 40 years old (and in Eb), have the specifications changed? Furthermore, the instrument is satin silver, and in light browsing I don't believe I've seen satin silver neck and bit sets and was wondering if these are available and if I could be pointed in the direction of some. Lastly, any suggests on a fair price for this instrument both in the condition it's in and in the modestly refurbished condition I'd like to get in would be helpful.
Thank you.

Yes. Conn still makes these particular parts (if not the rest of the instrument) to the same specs. The Cavalier I played for awhile needed a new neck. The new parts were a direct fit, and my local tech, which works for a music store that is a Conn dealer, got them right in and they fit just fine.
