NEED HELP FINDING TUBA-EUPHONIUM MUSIC!!

Post by noriegatuba »

Hello all!

I am a senior performance student that's teaching for the 2008 Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islander Band Camp for the summer and will be instructing all the low brass. The camp will feature chamber ensemble performances that need to be rehearsed and ready for play in one week. I am asking for help from anyone that can send me free pdf files of tuba-euphonium quartet/ensemble arrangements before June 9th, as that is when camp starts. I don't have any quartet stuff that's suitable for a weeks worth of camp. The music cannot be too hard as these kids will be middle school-high school level players.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please send pdf files to noriegatuba@yahoo.com" target="_blank" target="_blank

Sincerely,

Jose Noriega, TAMUCC tuba student of Dan Sipes

Go here:

http://www.sibeliusmusic.com/cgi-bin/se ... storeid=-1

Next to "for this instrumentation" select "quartet (of the same instrumentation)"
Next to "including this solo instrument" put "tuba"

Leave the other options alone, and click "Submit" at the bottom of the page.

You will receive 3 pages of tuba/euphonium and tuba only quartets (many of the tuba only ones are playable with 2 euphs/2 tubas). Many of these are free for you to print and use...you only need the Scorch plug-in. If you don't have it already, it's also free to download here:

Good luck with the students!

Not free, but for this level arrangements from Ron Geese and Stephen Shoop would probably work out quite well:

Wishing you well,

My project of presenting free downloadable arrangements in .pdf-format holds lots of arrangements for various permutations of 1 through 5 low brass parts. Most often in bass clef concert as well as treble clef versions in Bb, BBb, and Eb. Spontaneous student ensembles of just about any mix of instruments may also find relevant stuff. The index for the project is here:
