Snake Question

Post by Casey Tucker »

hey guys and gals,
i use the typical white snake that has a large brush end for slides and a mouthpiece brush on the other end. unfortunately, i don't think this is getting everything of the insides of my slides. at one time, a friend of mine told me of a snake-like contraption that you hooked a hose to and it sent jets of water (much like a pressure washer just less intense) out of the end. i asked him if he knew where to locate one and he hadn't the faintest idea. does anyone know about something like this or if it even exists? also, does anyone have a fairly low cost alternative to a snake that does a better job? thanks!

There is a system called Horn Flush that comes with a "rinse hose" (called the Horn Blaster) that hooks up to a garden hose. I have one and have used this stuff in the past when I needed to get the horn somewhat clean but did not have the time to do a really thorough cleaning. You can find out more about it here:

Peace.
