Mine died on my G50 case earlier this year and I found a local shoe place that replaced it for me - a dinky little place just outside Syracuse. Only charged $50 to boot. They couldn't replace it like new because they didn't want to open seams, but it looks fine and is fully functional. If you are interested in sending it as far as Syracuse, NY I can get the info of the shop to you.
