In desperate need of sousa's

As it says in my signature I am a section leader for the sousaphones in my high school marching band. Therefore I am yearly given many challenges, but this one is too much. We currently have 7 silver Yamaha sousaphones and a gaggle of Conn long action and short action fiberglass sousas (Some of which are Conn prototypes) and 2-3 king fiberglasses of which I am not a fan of. We have been milking these sousaphones for several seasons. Alot of you guys are repair techs and I am sure that you have seen the rath of a high school band program. And as many of you know fiberglass isn't very durable after 50 years of wear and tear. I have 16 sousaphone players in my section and about 14 working sousaphones. I would have 5 new silvers but in typical district form......The bunch of new instruments that were allegedly incoming and due before marching band are not here. The company that won the bid for supply cannot get the sousas or service the instruments, they wont even prep the instruments (removing from boxes and making sure they actually operate) alll of which were stipulations in their contract. So who suffers? The students, of course. I have people that are ready to call the head of the district about this. But for those of you who have read my rant to this point might be able to help me. I want to find some fiberglass sousaphones (not expensive or new). I want to give my directors another option to ponder because those silver sousas that are now backordered will not be in until the last week or two of marching band. Thanks for tolerating my rant.
