Leadpipe for Conn/Reynolds/Olds

Post by lendril »

I have a Reynolds BBb 3/4, the T-09 or T-091, or whatever the model number is. Does anybody know if a current Conn leadpipe would fit it (one for a 5J or 12J, I believe)?

Yes, but the angle might be wrong..If you can find a junk Conn 11J, take the leadpipe from that because that particular tuba was identical to the Olds 0 99 and Reynolds T 09 tubas..but here is a pic of a new 12J and an olds.

The angle on that 12J leadpipe actually looks like it would be more comfortable for me anyway. Thanks for the suggestions, and I'll discuss with my repairman.

I used to wonder where all these pictures come from that are used for reference on TubeNet. I did a double-take of that pictures and.... hey! whoever has that horn also has a sectional couch just like mine!
