Holton 345 in a Cronkhite?

Just checking from anyone with first-hand experience whether a Holton 345 Bb would fit in a Cronkhite 6/4 Nirschl bag??

Last year I had Glenn make me a case for a MW 2165, which ofcourse is loosely based on the Holton 345. Glenn sent me the model bag for the Gronitz PCK / 2165, since these horns are taller than the Nirchl/Hirsbrunner York copies (for which he also has a specific case). My advice, based on my dealings with him, is to get ahold of Glenn directly. Most likely he'll have already made a bag for a Holton (beside keeping very accurate records, he remembers everything).

I have a Reunion Blues bag for a Grand Orchestral tuba that was made back when Cronkhite was at RB and RB bags were made in the USA. I'm reasonably sure that the current Cronkhite bag is based on the same pattern.

My BB-345 fits in the back, but it's very tight. It works, but there's little extra margin.

I have been using a large Pro-Tec bag. It's not nearly as well made, and it has the opposite problem (too long for the instrument by five inches), but it has much bigger and better pockets for music. The valves (which are really "out front" on a Holton) put so much curve on the music pocket that it's hard to get music in and out of it, even with the loose pocket design. I use the RB bag for my York Master.
