Yeah, that York is an amazing tuba... the York I had was in better condition IMO.
I got there at about 5 PM (due to my ride situation), bought Song and Wind
, stayed for the whole masterclass 6-8:30, and went to the greyhound station to ship a tuba for repairs. Great day.

Great job Jon and Spencer. It must have taken a lot of late night work to prepare those pieces so shortly after IMEA.
I have the link for the 20 minute warm up routine that Gene Pokorny spoke of.

I do not know of any local sales yet but this can be ordered online as I just did for my son Tyler.

The piece that Gene Pokorny performed at the start of the class is one we have been working hard to find. I remember he said it was a John Williams piece from one of the Star Wars Movies. I thought he said Empire Strikes back and entitled Love Theme. I could not find anything from that movie like that but came across Love Theme from Star Wars Episode II Attack of there clones. It is also titled Across the Stars (Love Theme). I have not seem it Scored for Tuba. But it is available for French Horn and Trombone as well as other instruments. I am not 100% sure if this is the actual piece that he played. I listen to a sound clip of the full Orchestral version and it sounds close.

Sound clips can be found online The You Tube has a few just search "Across the Stars"

If any one else remembers more or has info please let me know.
One more thing, My son Tyler was interested in the titles of the pieces that you and Jon played and were up on the overhead projector. We both had a hard time seeing the overhead and didn't have the chance to write anything down. I told Tyler next time I take him to something like this he has to bring a note pad and take lots of notes.
