I'm hearing that 10 total were advanced to semis.
2 have advanced to the finals on Oct. 27th.
No word yet as to who they are...

Did any big names try out that are currently professionals in the tuba field. I know of a couple people who were going to try out, but because of gas prices and being busy and other random stuff they couldn't try out,,,,maybe cheaper gas will help that.
I think it would be a great idea. We should ask the government to lower gas prices so that we can all attend the big symphony auditions! I don't think it is uncommon for a symphony to not accept someone unless they are absolutely sure they want them.
