You may want to give Cadence Music in Ft. Myers a call.
Phone (239) 275-6262 ~ (800) 262-BAND (2263) ~ Fax (239) 939-9997

Amongst aviators it is often said that any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. It's an even better landing when you can reuse the airplane.

Re: try tubas in Central Florida
Most of the major instrument companies have presened at the FMEA convention in early January. However, They may of may not bring a full stable of tubas to the convention. I have found it hit or miss over the years. IAJE was a conflict to this conference and since its demise, there may be more attendance/participation at the Florida conference.
I have heard however, that many companies are limiting their travel to conferences due to the economy. You might want to search the FMEA website for a list of vendors prior to a trip to Tampa.
Other than than the store Tom Waid mentioned, there is not much in Florida. Bessson/Buffet is located in Jacksonville. Contact TIm Ornato to arrange a playing of the new Besson. His contact info is on the Besson website.
The Midwest Clinic will have a full complement of tubas and euphoniums available for trial. It is held annually in Chicago. Website is midwestclinic.org.
You could also arrange visits to other out-of-Florida vendors who carry all these brands.
Good Luck,
