Woohoo! I gotta get me one-ah those. Only purple and gold with a "W" for Washington. It's possible to go to games in a boat at Washington.
It is possible to tailgate in a boat there. It is impossible to lose EVERY STINKING GAME ON YOUR SCHEDULE. Oh, wait...........maybe it is possible.

Here's to the purple mutts going winless.

Oregon kicked your season off right. Thank me later.

Mistakes of the past are coming home to roost. Ty Willingham was not the savior of Husky Football. Lots of work to be done and I'm not sure who is available to do it. Why the attitude? You beat the Huskies this year and, I think, the majority of the last five meetings. What difference does it make to a Duck fan if the Huskies win or lose as long as the Ducks win? I'm looking forward to the next Husky/Duck game. They are worthy opponents. The Ducks have rained on the Huskies parade a few time in the past. Would be nice to pay back the complement. And I hope soon but your guess is as good as mine.

I'm not aware of the results of the other Duck games this year. What's their record?

My self esteem doesn't rest in the balance on the outcome of a Saturday morning game. I would prefer a win but the loss doesn't bother me.

I do care about Washington Rowing. We've been national champions 4 out of the last 6 years. The rowing program has more national championships that the rest of the Washington teams put together and multiplied by two.

Cameron, you are aware of what happened when your DUCKS met a group of surly Cal BEARS?

Now, the Berkeley Bears. Nothing makes me feel better than when the Husky crews stomp potholes in Cal. We race them three times in a year and, depending, maybe four. Swept 'em last year, I think.

Husky football has yet to face the Bears. A win would be great but I think only about 1/2 of the players want to get off the airplane. Here's to better days...

I feel your pain. when I was at Cal we won an average of 2.5 games per year. Never winless, but some terrible football.

Ace, the only reason Cal football has made it back from the dark ages (Joe Kapp) is because of Ducks.

1. Bruce Snyder was the first coach to pull it out of the muck in the 80's. Bruce played at Oregon.

2. Tedford was our O coordinator and head coach in waiting. He could not wait.

BTW, check the over all record. Yes, Cal got lucky again this year against us. However, Cal will be playing in the Emerald Bowl against a powerhouse like Maryland (does that scare you) and the Duck are currently in the Rose Bowl race - kinda.

I am happy to say Washington goes nowhere. May they go nowhere for another 50 years or until I am dead.

I'll take loses to Cal every year to watch the purple pukes go winless.

As a redneck houseboat owner, I kinda hate to read you guys taking potshots at this happy camper.
Mary Ann, if he leaves the soft drink label on his cooler, I believe he should have the benefit of any doubt until you see him whip out a cold beer.
You guys in Washington and Oregon must be soooo jealous of our #1 Crimson Tide. There is a place to tailgate on the river near Tuscaloosa but it's so cold nobody's out there.
My thanks to Rick for not hijacking this thread like the rest of us and giving an enlightening report on how these horns we salivate over actually play.

Well, a WSU coach went down to coach the Tide and got sucked in by the Demon Titty Bar.... Neither one of the D-I teams in Washington are in any sort of shape to face the Tide. Washington got taken apart by Oklahoma and USC. WSU got taken apart by USC and a bunch of teams that smacked UW, too.

And, potshots? Me, I like it! I want one just like it- or one kind of close.

Pic is now up for the Miraphone 185 CC.
Don't know who did the 5th valve conversion
to the right hand, but it sure looks like what
Bob Pallansch did for me on my old 186 back
in 1975.

I'll have to add this one to my Christmas dream list.

My hat's off to him/her... that's a clean job. It's challenging to get the valve linkage in there... mine was a bit less elegent...

That has got to be a Bob Pallansch right thumb conversion.
I might hate myself in the morning for this bump, but since I haven't hit the lottery yet ......
I'm somewhat surprised that the 185 CC is still up at Dillon's.

Owning a Mirafone 185 CC would just make my day.
