And to think that just the other day, someone told me you weren't an extremely generous person. I'm totally overwhelmed. Well, maybe I'm just whelmed. Again, I am not too sure.
OK. To clarify: Thank you, Sean.
Thank you, Sean...

This new policy isn't working. It's a reaction to one person's inability to work inside the system. Quoting the ORIGINAL AD in a message preserved it if it was such a big deal. Now we have even more clutter than before. For gods sake please undo this thing, and no it's not just another issue of "getting used to it". It plain doesn't work.
I don't want to dig through pages of posts to see if the something has been updated that's not in the original, I already spend too much time on here as it is.
The first bloke needs to get used to it. Why is the rest of the community suffering?
EDIT: Now I can't mark items that were on hold before as for sale again!
Sean is right, in my opinion. Simply hit the post reply button and update the information on the item. If someone with an adult attention span is interested in the item they will read through the entire thread.

Oh dang! I'm going to be laughing all night over that..... I don't even know why that's funny. Maybe it's because it's a similar thought process to how my 2 year old son would approach a problem!
Brilliant. Just make text blocks into jpeg's and then upload at will. Brilliant.

My plan was actually to assemble a team of the best minds and bodies TubeNet has to offer and made a super-secret infiltration of the top-secret and highly-guarded TubeNet server room. From there, we would install a very discrete server worm (It attacks five key server components, so I call it the "Jackson 5") which will remove the lock on editting posts in the For Sale section!

That's the whole point, geomiklas -- Sean disabled the edit function from for sale entries.

Yes iiipopes, I'm well aware and personally miss that edit button too.
