I pm'd him like a month ago and he said that he'd be talking to schools in the area about it. But I haven't heard anything about it.

I apologize for not seeing your posts sooner. We experienced (obviously) a delay in getting the website going, but it seems the problem will be resolved by the end of the week. All of the information originally listed is correct with the exception that there will not be a Brass Quintet Mock Audition. All competition entries are due February 1, 2009 so you will have plenty of time to register once the website is running. Only the solo competitions will require a recording. The solo repertoire is listed on the original post, the mock audition material will be on the website.

Again, the dates are Friday, March 6 - Sunday, March 8 at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. I would appreciate your patience in waiting for the website to become active, but if you need immediate information I am happy to answer your inquiries via email.

Thanks and I hope to see you in March!

The SERTEC 2009 Website is functional (http://www.sertec2009.org" target="_blank). We still have a few things to add, but here is what is available:
*Conference Registration for Individuals and Ensembles/Groups
*Competition Information and Repertoire
*A partial List of Performers (an update on this is coming soon)
*Information on and Directions to UNCSA

We have made every attempt to provide a high quality conference that is affordable to all (especially college students). Groups of four or more can register together for only $20 for each participant. Competitions are also moderately priced with a fee cap for those who would like to enter more than one competition. I am still negotiating prizes and will announce these as soon as possible. (No...no horns! But I think it will worth your efforts. It does depend somewhat on the number applicants.)

I hope to see you in Winston-Salem on March 6-8! Please register early!
