Since I played this instrument for many years, I am more than willing to try and answer any question's any bidder may have.

Yet, even though the pictures quite obviously indicate a Mirafone tuba, the brand name is never mentioned in the title or description:

I seem to remember seeing these pictures before and not bidding. ..... If anyone has time, I would be curious as to the response if you were to ask the seller to email an additional picture of the instrument shown in the furnished pictures.

I gave the seller a call. He didn't know the brand. Apparently the bell was replaced with one with no logo. (No... it's not one of my replacement bells). The nickel bottom bow guard is missing and was replaced with a regular tuba bow wire. The horn is obviously a Mirafone. He said it has been in the family for a couple of years and was purchased to play in high school.

Sooo.... I would conclude that the auction is legit. But... if you are serious about bidding and have questions, give the seller a call.
