So, after about a month of talking to banks and such, I finally did it. I buckled down and bought a tuba.. There are so many great tubas out there but and Im very happy that we have a place like this forum to buy/sell/discuss everything tuba. Tubenet is such a fantastic resource! Thanks tubenet!

It is on its way. I will post pics and a review after it arrives. This horn will be making its debut (well, with me playing it at least) in the Victoria Symphony Orchestra playing the Alpine Symphonie at the end of January if anyone will be in the area!
