Qs: small tuba gig bags

Post by skeath »

Does anyone know if someone makes a gig bag the right size for a Yamaha YCB-621? I'm using a Reunion Blues bag that came with my F (YFB-822), but the little horn is swallowed by even that bag.

Thanks.

Glenn Cronkhite, whose cases were formerly made by Reunion Blues, makes one that's an exact fit for the 621.

Another recommendation for a Kronkhite bag. I got a bag for my yfb-621 last week and Glenn was very patient and thorough in making sure I got just what I was looking for in a bag (green leather! yay!).

one comment on leather - if it's brand new and you have a silver finish, air it out and look into other precautions against tarnishing.
