Contacts Section

Hi all,
i thought it might be cool to have something like a contact section where we can post something like our contacts here, be it msn, yahoo, email etc.
Just to make more friends in the community. We could know more about others on the globe...
Example: Name, Age, Area, Contacts, Institute etc.
Suggestions?

thanks a lot for the reply.
Not that it is not details, they are, certainly.

But I'm looking into self introduction of individuals, which we can make friends around the globe.
Like example, I'm from Singapore but i do have some tuba friends and teachers around Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, US etc. And sometimes we do contact through msn or emailing.

Maybe something like that, perhaps, to make more friends in the community?

We have a Private Message system here, and you can load your email address so that another user can click the button and send an email to you at whatever address you used when you opened you account here at TubeNet.

Publicly posting your email address will draw the spam bots to your inbox like moths to a light bulb! If you must list your address, it is best to make it difficult for a bot that is *mining* this place for email addresses. Spelling out "at" and "dot" help some. If I have to list my address publicly I will put each word on a separate line and spell out those two words.

This seems to work pretty well as it is not in a format that is recognizable to a bot. (Or is not YET recognizable - I am sure they are trying, however!)

Anyway, many of us here communicate on a daily basis via the PM system or email. Do not use the address I just listed. If you want to communicate with me just click the little PM button over on the right beneath my name. I promise to respond, unless you are selling something…
