Since this is your first post, I will keep the sarcasm at a minimum but why not check Google for notes?

As I wrote before, I have the basics. I am just looking for more information and thought using this forum would be helpful to me without having to email Mr. Plog directly.

I would email him directly using the paragraph about why he wrote it etc. Tony is a very nice person and will probably email with lots of info the might help you!

I would also email Dan Perantoni as well. Maybe get his first impressions of the piece, how his opinions have changed, where he has performed the piece etc.

If you don't mind when you are done, it might be nice to post the notes here. I am sure there would be many people interested!

I'm pretty sure that my copy of the piano part has a couple paragraphs about Mr. Plog on the back cover. If you've given the part to your pianist, maybe check with him/her.

I agree. email is the best way. I've been in contact with him about a piece he has written for me and he is very prompt with answering emails.
