Personal Music??

Post by Dan Schultz »

I would guess that some high school band director would really be happy about this auction! Sort of like those sousa necks and bits that pop up once in a while.

Which, based upon the Alma Mater included in the lot, and the seller's location, is this Catholic high school.

...whose band also has a web page.

Reported to the webmaster at their website.

I hope it was worth the $26.61 plus shipping to the little punk. I can't imagine why 10 people bid on this...what possible use is the tuba part only to a marching band arrangement?

I got a nice reply from the webmaster...he said he could tell from the music in the auction that the theft was from about 5 years ago and it wouldn't be too hard to narrow down who did it since there weren't many tuba players. He also thanked me for bringing this to his attention.

Sometimes it's enough just to do the right thing, "mean" or not.

You guys are so far ahead of me in the sleuthing business it's not funny. It took me 30 minutes of searching all the pictures looking for a school stamp or the Alma Mater to realize it was in the printed list. Good work!
